Eleanor Catton tour of the UK

Eleanor Catton tour of the UK

Since winning the Man Booker Prize in October 2013 for her novel The Luminaries, Eleanor Catton has gone on to have a multitude of accolades heaped upon her, including: New Zealander of the Year, the Governor General’s Fiction Award, the New Zealand Order of Merit and New Zealand Woman of the Year. Now, the Kiwi wunderkind, the youngest winner in the history of the prize, is returning to the U.K for a programme of events celebrating her success. Eleanor will appear at venues around the country, in a series of talks which begin at the Oxford Literature Festival on 30 March. The programme also includes conversations with the chair of the Man Booker judging panel for 2013, Robert MacFarlane, and, in separate events, his fellow judges Natalie Haynes and Stuart Kelly.

Continuing from Oxford, Eleanor will go on to Manchester University, Cambridge Literary Festival, UEA Spring Literary Festival, Australia and New Zealand Literature Festival, Laugharne Festival Weekend and the Cuirt Festival.
