There is a Booker Prize Archive available to consult at The Special Collections, Oxford Brookes University Library.

The Special Collections at Oxford Brookes University Library became the permanent home of the Booker Prize Archive in 2003. The Archive, which encompasses the administrative history of the Prize from 1968 to date, collects together a diverse range of material, including correspondence, publicity material, copies of both the Longlists and the Shortlists, minutes of meetings, photographs and material relating to the awards dinner (letters of invitation, guest lists, seating plans). Complementary material held by the Library includes the shortlisted titles, manuscripts donated by the family of inaugural Prize Winner P.H. Newby and the First Chapter Series (Booker Prize) donated by Oak Tree Fine Press.

The catalogue

The Special Collections at Oxford Brookes University Library is available for consultation and has been catalogued to date.

The Catalogue for the Papers of the Booker Literary Prizes is divided into four series for the different Booker Prizes: (Man) Booker Prize papers; Booker Russian Novel Prize papers; International Booker Prize papers; and additional prize papers (including a small amount of material relating to the Man Asian Literary Prize and the International Prize for Arabic Fiction). Within each series the papers are arranged chronologically by prize year.
