The Hand Reared Boy

The Hand Reared Boy

The Hand-Reared Boy was the first British novel to frankly explore the sexual awakening of a young boy as he grows into adolescence.

With wit and perception it describes the burgeoning sexuality of Horatio Stubbs as he comes to be aware that other people are more than sexual objects.
