Michael Collins

Michael Collins was born in Limerick in 1964. His work includes The Life and Times of a Teaboy (New York Times Notable Book of the Year 1993) and Emerald Underground and two collections of short stories, The Meat Eaters and The Feminists Go Swimming. His novel The Keepers of Truth was shortlisted for the 2000 Man Booker Prize for Fiction. His work has been translated into several languages and has received widespread international acclaim.
