Kazuo Ishiguro

Kazuo Ishiguro was born in Nagasaki, Japan, in November 1954 but moved to Britain in 1960. His books include An Artist of the Floating World (1986), The Remains of the Day (1989), When We Were Orphans (2000), and Never Let Me Go (2005). He received an OBE for Services to Literature in 1995, and the French decoration of Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 1998. He lives in London.
